Life can feel quite different depending on where we place our attention. One area may feel steady while another feels stretched. Some parts of life may have plenty of colour, while others may feel quieter than we realised.
The Rainbow Life Reflector™ gives you a way to step back and look across seven areas of your life at the same time.
Each area is paired with something that may help you reflect on how that part of life feels for you right now:
Life & Leisure — Balance Home & Living — Safety Health & Wellness — Wellbeing Career & Learning — Growth Finances — Stability Relationships — Respect Community — Belonging
You will create your Reflector in two different ways.
First, you will colour it from instinct, based simply on how each area feels to you.
Then, if you choose, you can complete the Rainbow Life Reflector™ questionnaire and create a second version based on your responses.
Neither version is intended to be right or wrong. The value is in noticing what each way of looking helps you see.
Meet your Rainbow Life Reflector™
The seven arcs represent the seven Life Categories.
Each arc is divided into seven sections, giving you a simple way to show how much of the associated quality feels present for you right now.
You are not trying to create a perfect rainbow. The Reflector is simply a visual way of noticing what feels present, what feels quieter, and where your attention may naturally be drawn.
Start with your own sense of things
Your first Reflector is based purely on instinct.
Look at each Life Category and its associated quality. Without analysing it too much, choose how much colour feels right for you today.
For example:
Life & Leisure — Balance How much balance feels present in this part of your life?
Relationships — Respect How much respect feels present in your relationships right now?
Colour from 1 to 7 sections in each arc.
There is no right answer and nothing to justify.
Colour what feels true, not what you think should be there.

You have now created a Rainbow Life Reflector™ based on your own sense of things.
The next step is to look at your rainbow in a different way.
The Rainbow Life Reflector™ questionnaire asks you to slow down and consider a series of statements about different parts of your life and some of the patterns that may sit beneath the surface.
There are no right or wrong answers.
Try to respond from where you are now, rather than how you think things should be, how they used to be, or how you would like them to be.
When you finish, your responses will create a second set of results for your Reflector.
For now, you will first see how your answers relate to the seven Life Categories.
Later, you will also be invited to look at what your responses may reveal beneath the surface.
Answer instinctively where you can. You do not need to overthink every response.
You have already looked at these patterns from instinct.
Now you can see how your questionnaire responses reflected them.
These results are not labels, diagnoses, or a measure of how well you are doing.
They are simply another way of noticing which patterns may be taking up more or less space for you right now.
Colour what sits beneath the surface
Use these scores to colour the lower half of your second Rainbow Life Reflector™.
As before, colour the number of sections that matches each result.

Compare what you see
You now have two complete Reflectors.
One came from your own immediate sense of things.
The other came from slowing down and responding to the questionnaire.
Take a moment to look at both.
Where do they tell a similar story? Where do they differ? Which results surprised you? Is there a pattern beneath the surface that helps you understand something above it differently? Is there something you had sensed already, but can now see more clearly
You are not looking for which Reflector is right. You are looking for what each one helps you notice.
You have spent some time looking at your Rainbow Life Reflector™ as it feels today.
Now imagine returning to it a little further down the road.
If you looked at your Reflector again in 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, how would you want it to look?
This is not about creating a perfect rainbow or filling every section with more colour.
Some areas may matter more to you than others. Some may already feel right as they are. In another area, even a small shift could feel meaningful
Choose a timeframe:

Step back and notice
Look at your future Reflector alongside the ones you created for today.
What has changed?
Where would you like to see more colour?
Is there an area that already feels close to where you want it to be?
And perhaps most importantly:
What feels worth moving towards?
Your rainbow gives you something to move towards
Your Rainbow Life Reflector™ has helped you notice where you are now, what may be influencing you beneath the surface, and what you might like to see differently over time.
The next step is not to work out the whole journey.
First, it helps to understand what matters enough to guide your direction.
