A little about Allan
Sometimes, when something feels a little off, we don’t need fixing, we just need space, clarity, and a moment to see things differently. That belief sits at the heart of my work and has been shaped not only by professional training and neuro-informed study, but by lived experience.
I’m naturally reflective, reserved, and thoughtful, someone who understands what it’s like to overthink, feel stretched, or quietly doubt yourself during times of change. Over the years, I’ve navigated my own seasons of transition and reinvention, deepening my understanding of how we respond to stress, shifting identities, and emotional fatigue.
This understanding led me to create Manage My Rainbow… a calm, reflective approach to supporting people, through conversation and self-awareness, helping them find clarity and steadiness without pressure, willpower, or the need to fix anything.
At times, I also use simple reflective tools to help people see things more clearly, including the Rainbow Life Reflector.
Allan Bennett – Founder of Manage My Rainbow
When I see a rainbow, something in me naturally pauses. There’s a quiet sense of lightness in that moment… a gentle reminder of hope and possibility.
I find myself noticing its natural beauty, reflecting on what’s present, and allowing space for something to settle before responding. Over time, I’ve come to realise that rainbows don’t just appear in one place, they can show themselves anywhere, when the conditions are right.
On the horizon after a storm, in the mist of a morning walk, even in the light of a passing shower… or unexpectedly, reflected across a glass table. Small, quiet moments where, if we allow the space, something within us can begin to shift.
It’s a simple rhythm, one that continues to shape how I meet both myself and others. And over time, this gentle rhythm has become a quiet foundation for how I support people.
Learning to manage your rainbow is about recognising your inner resources, understanding your inner weather, and reconnecting with the wisdom that’s already within you.
From there, something begins to soften… and clarity can start to emerge, naturally, in its own time.
Today, I support people who feel stretched, stuck, or quietly overwhelmed , helping them to pause, reflect, and gently reconnect with their inner rainbow, where clarity and a steadier sense of direction can begin to return.
Alongside this work, I also write Out at Coffee … a blog exploring connection, belonging, and everyday moments. It’s inspired by the regular coffee catch-ups I enjoy with friends. It’s not about the perfect café or the perfect cup, it’s about slowing down and noticing the moments we share.
For some, it offers another way to get a feel for how I think and reflect. For others, it’s simply a reminder that clarity often emerges in ordinary moments, when we give ourselves permission to pause and allow the conditions for something to become clear.
